He has a hard time getting along with many of the aristocrats on court, being as he thinks their indulgences are obnoxious and non-sensical. However he has agreed to be Louis' court upon Marie's request so he can be there for both the prince and princess.

Named for the original, Marie-Thérèse Antoinette is every bit like her royal ancestor in appearance and personality. Which may make reason of her strong popularity in not only the French scene, but the rest of the world. Even though her brother Louis is the heir to the throne, Marie gains world wide attention. Luxurious parties, outlandish clothes, friends with the top celebrities and designer. Marie knows how to make an entrance, and loves globe-trotting. When her dear brother became engaged she knew she needed to make a huge party of it, and the wedding court was a way her parents thought they could do it in a 'refined' manner. While the king and queen may be using this to gain political ties and publicity, its all just one big celebration for Marie...let's just hope the drama remains at a minimum.

While Yolande shares Marie's sense of adventure and luxury, she is a bit more sensible and realizes money is not always everything. A hopeless romantic, smart, and tough; if you took away Yolande's fortune today she would still manage to find a way to get by. While Yolande maybe the streetwise child, her twin-sister is the complete opposite. She and her sister have never really been close or gotten along. Yoland is looking forward to court, and simply hopes the group can play nice.

She and Marie have never particularly gotten along even though they run in the same social circles, and that Yolande is more of a sister to Marie than her. She is looking forward to the prospect of the wedding court, and the fact so many eligible royals will be attending.

Aveline was born from a brief affair King Louis had with a girl in his college years. However the young woman was of common status and involved with drugs so full custody of Aveline was given to the royal family, and the scandal was covered up as best could be done. The affair was a stain on the monarchy and no one exactly knew how to handle the child. So Aveline grew up constantly feeling she had to prove her-self, especially when compared to her younger half-sister Marie. Aveline will never admit her envy over her sister, and instead channels her angst through trying to act more dignified and proper than Marie.

She is often referred to as the odd-ball of the family, but I guess there always is one. However Marie does not seem to mind because the two have been close since infancy. Sabine's parents, who are noted for their pretentious attitudes, have been somewhat concerned though. Even though Sabine never causes drama, or ends up looking bad in tabloids; they just do not feel she acts her rank. They believe she acts too much like a commoner, attending local concerts, cafes, and having friends of low social standing. However sweet little Sabine does not seem to notice other's worry and simply keeps acting quirky.
